Moon: Waxing Crescent. New Moon, Jan.6. First Quarter Jan.14.
We had a “cold front” move through after some giant wind last week! Most of the week was North wind 5-10. It moved ESE on Friday. We had occasional rain showers and some amazing skies!
Fishing was good on the front side! We couldn’t fish the Bay side due to blown out conditions. So most of the good fishing was found around Tranquility Bay on the Reef side. We found big schools of 2 – 4 lb bonefish along with some bigger singles and doubles.
Permit were hanging around Rosario Caye before it got blow out for some shots for Tim’s buddy. No takers. But he won’t forget what that looked like!
Tarpon are safe for time being!
Thank you to Cameron Karsten photography CameronKarsten.com for some fun times on the water. We look forward to seeing some great shots! Also a big thank you to Kevin Barker from Laminar Fly Laminarfly.com for being a “pro” on the boat!
